Suddenly, the answer came to me! All I had to do was figure out a way to incorporate my fun time with my baby into my workout. This way I was still sending quality time with my child and getting in shape at the same time.

Get on a schedule

Set Up a Workout Area
It really helped me when I created a designated workout area. This way everything I needed for me and my baby was in one area. After awhile my baby also began to associate this area with independent play time, raising the odds of me getting a good workout in. Being together also allowed me to keep a close eye on her.
Do not forget the toys
Make sure to fill the area with toys for your baby. Make her feel included in the workout. This is a great time for bonding.
Get on the Floor
As you know, your baby spends a lot of time moving around on the floor. This can be a real asset to you. Make sure to have plenty of clean towels and blankets in the area for your baby to crawl around on.
Did you know that certain types of music have been shown to increase your baby’s IQ? It can also energize your workout and give you energy. Use this to your advantage.
Whatever you do, make sure that both you and your baby are having fun. Do not get frustrated. You may have a day or two where your baby does not cooperate. That’s ok. Just try it again tomorrow.
Ok, I know that sounds crazy, but it is true. Do your best to stay on schedule, but always be willing to change when your baby does not cooperate. If you can not workout at your normally scheduled time, do it later. There are going to be times where your workout is more important to your overall happiness and balance than getting the dishes done.
